New question here. Scalpel Shock Pressures

I am 68Kg's and struggling achieve the recommended 10mm sag on the DT swiss SSD190 shock installed on my scalpel team replica. I have reduced the air pressure and am currently only getting 8mm with a pressure of approx 40psi...anyone got any advice or info??

hi, I weight 175lbs and im using the dt swiss in my team scalpel and to get the correct sag in running 55psi. this shock uses really low pressures compared to the fox rp23.. I even call Dt swiss costumer support and they told me thi shock uses less air than normal ones.....I was kind of scare of using with such little air, but its working fine so far..

    good luck

(the only thing not working good its the bike...)

    Thanks Sebastian.

Like you I'm a little nervous to ride with such little pressure in there. Last night I de-pressurised the air chamber completely and went through the setup procedure (obviously I didn't ride like this), to determine how much sag was possible. To my surprise only then did i achieve the recommended 10 mm sag!!!

I will try a trail ride at 40psi this weekend and see how it feels....but i find the set-up a bit peculiar...am I missing something here?
