    Scalpel frame failure

I have a 2001 scalpel 2000 and my bike mender has just noticed that the bond between the carbon strut (coming down from the fox suspension to the rear) and the metal dropout the has actually become loose, casuing alot of sideways movement on the wheel and rendering the bike dengerous and totally un-ridable.

Does anyone have any experience of this or know what Cannondale will be able to do for me under frame warranty?

They will take care of you. Bring it to your dealer, my crystal ball sees a new Scalpel frame...
