    Question for carbon flash owners?

Just bought a 26 carbon flash. In the process of putting it together....and noticed my rear brake line isn't long enough. Must be a 1000mm. Just ordered 2000mm of cable. I want to go tryout my new ride tomorrow.

I was wondering if any of you have routed your brake cable up on the top tube instead of on the bottom? If I do this I will be fine....but, don't want to scratch up my new frame. I was thinking maybe rubber zip ties might work.

    Any thoughts. Thanks

Haven't try it myself, but I think nathanbal did it on his Flash.

Thanks for the pic. I want to do the same. I just can't tell what he used. Regular zip ties would definately scratch the frame.

I could just make the logical decision and dump my juicy 7 for the Formula R1 (with the 1650mm line) brakes
