I think you'd need to drill the frame which would be a no no for lots of reasons not least voiding your warranty. Its quite normal to run a full length outer cable to the rear derailler though.

Not unless you drill some in.- and outlets yourself to route the cables...
You can run a full length rear d. housing though and it will be internally routed in the swingarm...but I don't see a way to put them inside the main frame...

that's what I thought--just checkin It would be nice to have them all inside.

Also, I saw some pictures of people with Prophets that have like a little "sock-like" thing on their rear shock. I haven't seen this before but I assume it's to keep dirt from getting into the seals and need less maintenance, etc.

Are there any downsides to using one of these? If not, where can I get one?

Oh--and one last thing---anyone see a "real" (not factory) picture of an 07 prophet in black and red? (the prophet 4). I'm getting it but I couldn't find any pictures and I'd love to see what it actually looks like. I looked through like the last 20 pages of the "post your prophet" thread to no avail...

In the last MBA theres a guy riding one. Its in the middle where all the killer pictures are from different places to ride scary looking stuff. The bike may be a Euro model though.

I don't use one of these, but they look really ugly. Other than that, Iv'e heard that gunk gets stuck inbetween the shock stantion and the little cover thing. I think there pointless, but I think that lizard skin makes them.
