They aren't available yet. At least in size large. And second they are very expensive, so don't expect to see to many.

i'd wait to see if weight/performance are there before labeling it 'very expensive'. I'd agree on paper via spec, but these things are supposed to be up to 5lbs lighter than competitors. I hope they can do it.

Well in my book $3500 for the base model , $5000 for the mid range, and $6000 for the Moto 1 counts as very expensive regardless of performance. Five pounds lighter than the competition is extremely optimistic. For comparision a Ransom 10 tips the scale at 31.39 claimed pounds.

I'm not sure I understand your example Tomac18. The bike you picked is more in line with what I'm saying. The Ransom 10 and Carbon Moto 2 have identical MSRPs, almost identical claimed wieght. The Ransom has a bit nicer drivetrain, the Moto 2 has a nicer fork and wheels. Can anybody get an actual(with photo) weight of the Scott. I think a better target would be the Enduro SL lineup, which I'm pretty sure is outselling the Scott lineup.

it's also $3900, $5000 and $6000 for the three versions of Carbon Motos from what I've seen.

More importantly, when will they be available.
I can't get any answers from my Cannondale guy. Aren't there
any insiders on this board that can let us in on the scoop?

Last week Cdale said "May." Two weeks before that it was "mid April." Basically nobody can say for sure.

FYI, next issue of Decline (on sale May 1) is supposedly featuring a review (or preview)...

Looks like I should be getting my hands on both a Moto and a Rize for review sometime in the coming months. Luckily, I'm chock full of test bikes right now, so I can't really ride these until June (which looks to be when my size will be available).

Should be fun! I'll post my review when I'm done here and on www.FeedTheHabit.com.
