    Lefty Fork bumper came off

Hi! The rubber bumper came off my lefty during a flight this summer. The adhesive melted I assume. I need to put it back before I crash my fork into my top tube. Any idea what is best to use on a carbon Lefty? Super glue? Double sided tape? Thanks in advance!

I would try the double sided tape first. Not sure about superglue and carbon. They're really not that securely attached. When I got my newest bike I thought it was falling off, but my older bike was the same way. You could try hot melt glue also. You can buy a new one for about $10. Check cannondaleexperts.com or ebay.

Does it not have an o ring holding it on? My rubber bumper has a groove with an o ring, no adhesive.

They are held on with an adhesive, not an O ring. Sounds like a bad way to hold it on in your case.

Mine had come off too. I think I put it back with 5 min epoxy. I'm sure that double stick tape will work fine too.

The older Lefty fork had the bumper that when all the way around the fork, just above the bottom clamp. The adhesive mounted bumper started in 2010.
