    Hello!
My girlfriend is thinking about buying this second-hand bike(photo), and wants my opinion about it. All she has is this photo and the current owner doesnt know any detail...

Looks like one of the Trail models:

Can't pinpoint much more than that without more pics.

It looks like a Trail. I can't tell what the components are or the wheel size. It looks like a 26 and probably a Trail 5. It's hard to tell exactly based on that photo. It originally sold for 700-800. They are entry level mountain bikes with 100 mm travel front shocks. It looks like it'd be a good bike to get started on depending on what the price is.

From what i can see, the owner knows a lot about the bike, or at least he does a good job of copy/paste (because some of the thing he says about frame size make no sense)

Your "girlfriend" would be better off buying something else, there are bikes for that price that are way better specced. XCM is a POS fork i would rather ride rigid.

    Identifying cannondale bike

Think it's a 2013 Cannondale Trail 5. In that case it would be a 26" bike.
Original price 599. Now he asks about 450... A bit too much... If it's in good shape and you don't mind buying a 26" bike, I believe it's worth negotiating for. It's a decent frame. Somewhere in the 250-300 range I think...

Looking at buying a Moto Carbon

Hey guys! I read the posts and am now super hyped about grabbing this Moto Carbon off Craigslist for $850. First of all..is that a good price (even though its 6yrs old)? And also, is it a 2009 Moto Carbon 3 or a 2010 Moto Carbon 2?

It also has a chip in the fame. (shown in the last picture) Do you think this is something I should worry about with a carbon frame? ...or does it not look too bad.
