How to change the FR/XC setting on a Prophet

I know how to do it but do I need to release the air in the shock first?

you need two 5mm hex keys. Just loosen up the bolt, pull it out, and move it to FR or XC, then tighten it up.

Thank you, I did not not if the shock was "pushing" out in its normal position.

Make sure you tighten the bolts up pretty tight. The first time I switched positions, I didn't tighten them up enough, and every time my shock returned to it's full extent, I got this clunking noise, it was very annoying.
