    Here's the reason.....

    .....why the cannondale warranty is only for the original owner....you never know what the previous owner "modified"....this is the dumbest set-up I've seen so far:

    it's under $20 right now. If there's no reserve it'd be worth bidding on just for the frame. You could sell that worthless fork for more than you buy the bike for!

    And exactly that is the issue here, buddy.....that fork probably weakened the headtube area so much already that it very soon will snap.....and then the unlucky buyer will whine here on the forum how bad cannondales are, that the frame just snapped during an easy xc ride without any jumps etc.....even if that fork will be rplaced with one that has the proper a2c I wouldn't want to ride it.....

    I don't know much about bikes... but something about that bike does look VERY wrong.

    Are DH bike frames significantly different to allow such massive forks? How did he eff up the geometry so badly?
