    FSI Di2 Cable Routing?

    Hey,

the FSI frame has an opening on the right rear chainstay for the RD, an opening for the front derailleur just above the BB on the seat tube and another opening somewhat under the BB under the downtube.

However there is no opening around the headset. Does that mean I am required to route the cable from the handlebar along the downtube to the opening under the BB?

    How does the Black Inc. route the cable?FSI Di2 Cable Routing?-img_5787.jpgFSI Di2 Cable Routing?-img_5788.jpgFSI Di2 Cable Routing?-img_5789.jpg

    Thanks

If you remove the upper most cable guide on the downtube, you will see the entry point for the di2 wire. Cannondale includes a di2 specific replacement cable guide that allows the wire to pass under.

I installed my di2 completely internally. Entering at the top of the downtube, battery in seatpost, junction B tucked into the chainstay.

    md,

Would you be able to post a pic of your wire routing from shifter to down tube?

There's a smaller version of the singular plastic RD/brake cable guides that are on the lower downtube on the FSi. Its made to be placed under the bolt of the derailleur hanger to guide the di2 wire to the rear derailleur. Works pretty well. Should be in your bag of frame parts that came with the bike.

Does anyone run an internal dropper through the big port in the downtube (near the BB)?
(i just got my alloy 1 2017 upgraded to a carbon 3 2018 after a cracked frame and would like to upgrade my external dropper to an internal)

That hole is there for running an internally routed dropper. So yes, do it.

thanks, I thought it had to do with Di2, but it seems OK, just need to find a nice way to attach the cable to the other 2 mounting points, the top 1 has 1 slot free, but the other 2 have a single sided clip. I think the best option would be to double up on those clips, right?
