F29: going from SRAM S1000 38/24 to SRAM XO 39/26

Hi everyone! I wanted to go from a 175 crankset to a 170 and unfortunately for me my current chainrings (38/24) are not an option for the lines i was looking at. That being said I could easly swap mine with the new crank arms. the crankset I was looking at come with a 39/26, whats that going to mean as end result for me coming from a 38/24? sorry for the newbie question

You are going to shorter crank arms so that means less leverage. The new gearing is taller. Add that up and you are going to have less of a granny gear. At the end of the day, it is small enough that your body will adapt pretty quickly.
