Cleaning the lefty

Just curious. Im a freak when it comes to cleaning my bike. The only thing is I'm so paranoid about getting water near my lefty fork. So the deal is I just clean and degrease everything else and just try to stay away from my left. Only problem is everything on the bike is clean except for the fork and it really bugs me. Im just curious as to how all the lefty owners on this forum clean there bikes with lefty forks. Is there something I don't know? Please enlighten me.

When I (rarely) clean my 'dales I'll just use a damp rag. Should keep your Lefty shiny and races water free.

Now why didn't I think of that. I actually use a can of dust remover to blow away all the little dirt particles, but still can't get rid of em all.

Shouldn't be an issue if your boot is in place and not torn and you don''t spray high pressure water directly into the breather holes in the upper breather/filter boot.

Two Lefties in 8 years , wash them all the time with zero issues.
