The Carbon SI cranks have a fixed spider so no, you can't. That spider and ring kit is for a Specialized crankset. You can still have a 2x10 setup with your SI, just not with XX chainrings but with rings that match your crankset BCD.

There are a few ways to do this, using SRAM XX rings is not one, unless you change the crankset.

First, what size chainrings are you looking for? This may influence if you should be looking for two 104mm BCD rings or one 64mm and one 104mm (assuming you have a SI triple crankset). The smallest 104mm BCD is 32T (Extralite makes a 30 I think), below that, you'll want a 64mm BCD that you'll mount where your current granny ring is (the 22T) and you'll mount the bigger ring where your current middle ring is... This will also center the rings better with the cassette, than if you mount two 104mm BCD rings in the middle and outer location. But, you also have to check that the rings placed like that wont rub the chainstay...

Also, 10 speed chains work fine on 9 speed chainrings so the rings you get can be for 9 speed drivetrain. So far, SRAM XX are the only 10 speed rings, the new X.0, X.9 and maybe X.7 will also be 10 speed but they are not yet available. Shimano will also have 10 speed chainrings for 2011. With those two big players, other companies wont have the choice but to also come up with 10 speed chainrings.

    Jan,

Sram XX is 120 - 80 mm BCD

Carbon crank SI has 104-64mm BCD

    no removable spider ...

    so, cannot do it

with a Hollowgram SL and an XX spider ... as Team models = OK
