    Air Pressure in rear shock?

I need to readjust the air pressure in my rear shock and i dont know the right pressure for my wieght. I'm 160lbs and the shock is a Fox Float R. I'm new to all this so if you got any suggestions i'd love to hear em. Thanks.

You should set it up for 20% sag. When you sit on your bike, the rear shock should compress only 20% of the full shock travel. It might be 15%. With everything I carry on my back, I weight about 225lbs and I air mine up to about 205. I'll sometimes add more air if I want a stiffer feel. The manual should have something on it and you don't have to worry about adding to much air. I mean I would not want go pass 300psi but my air shock readings stop there just like I think all the others do. Also, after you get use to riding with the Fox Float R and you find that you need some more stiffness for uphill stuff; go with the Fox Float RP23. The Pro-pedal feature is great.
