    2012 Scalpel Di2 compatible?

Hey All- I'm really new to the Cannondale world so bear with me. I just bought a 2012 Scalpel Carbon 2 and I'm in the midst of upgrading some components to lighten it up amd to make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Can I put Di2 on this frame? Not sure im going that way but want to know if I have the option. The bike heads out shortly for a custom BOB paint scheme with new enve bar and wheels-should look fairly sick when its complete- Thanks guys

I don't see why not. Shimano has battery mounts that attaches to your frames water bottle mount. Of course it's not going to be as clean as a modern frame that's built for DI2 with the battery hidden in the frame.

You can certainly externally wire the frame with the external battery and external junction box. Newer scalpel frames have a hole in the seat tube for a dropper post. I'm running 1x11 so I'm able to run the wire externally to this area and plug into internal battery, then take junction wire from junction B out that hole and externally to the RD.
