    Riot (Tior) for tall rider

I am looking for a new bike with more reach and better geometry for my Northeast trails than my Tallboy LTC (long chainstsys, short reach mainly). I Stumbled onto the riot. It looked great...until the effective top tube. 18mm shorter than my XL Tallboy. The 650mm of the new Ripley felt short. That 77 star really eats up cockpit length.

Im 6’4” with a slightly short torso so fit bikes closer to a 6’2” person. Anyone similarly sized riding a riot?

as an aside....are they even available? The seem to be awol.

    I’m 6ft and ride a L with a 60 stem. I went from a 40 to a 50 and now a 60 stem.

I think I could ride an XL with a 40 or 50 stem, but the L doesn’t feel cramped.

I wanted a Riot for a long time, however they are few and far between these days. I am 6'7 200lbs 36in in-seam and I have ridden my friends L Riot with a 45mm stem and it feels small to me, I ended up getting a YT Jeffsy CF Pro XL 2018 which has been amazing, the 2019 versions have a longer reach however I prefer a more upright feeling than being raked out. The bike seems really balanced in terms of moving around fore and aft compared to my Yelli and the chainstays are bang on in terms of getting the front wheel off the ground intentionally.

I'm 6'-2" with monkey arms and a 35" inseam, and I ride an XL Riot. 175mm cranks, 780mm bars, 40mm stem, and a 150mm DVO Diamond II fork. Fits me like a glove. The short chainstay is really what brings this bike to life. I'm not a downhill ripper, so the stability of a long wheel base is a moot point for me. Love that bike.

Im 6'1" on a large with 50mm stem and 800mm bars. I like it but could be just a touch bigger. Feels a bit twitchy at speed in the bike park but I do love how this bike allows you to hop skip and pop off everything.
