    5'11
    30 inch inseam
    large

The boost frames are longer than the non boost frame. I would go with a large if I was you.

The large is 450mm reach, the xl 473.
Im 6' and had a hardtail at 460 mm, replaced it with 475. I won't be straying very far from that number ( up or down) in the future. I have spent some time on a 510mm and it wasnt horrible and if all I ever did was descend straight down through high speed chop it would be advantageous.
450 is pretty short for a six footer imo.

I'm 6', 32" inseam, +3" ape index. I ride a Large and think it fits perfect with a 50mm stem and 787mm bar. I'm also just able to fit a 200mm "dropper" (https://www.amazon.com/ExaForm-Speed...m+speed+up+200) with 175mm cranks.

For general trail riding, I couldn't ask for much better geo than the Large. If higher speed downhill runs are your game, the XL is certainly worth considering.

I'm 6'1" w/ ~ about 32 in inseam and ride a large with a 50mm stem and a 150mm dropper. It is borderline small for me, but my cockpit is extremely comfortable. As others were saying, if you are looking for stability on long downhills, the xl is worth considering. That being said, i've taken mine to a small dh park and had a blast.
