    Older-model Yelli + Angleset?

Anyone ever run one of them Angleset things? I like the head angle of my Yelli Screamy as-is, but I want to put a longer-travel fork on it without making the stack height ridiculous (already running flat bars, being short is hard). I was thinking the Angleset might bring the front end down a little and offset an extra 10-20mm of travel. Thoughts?

How long of a fork are you trying to put on there? If you're not going over 140mm, I wouldn't worry about it.

Rule of thumb is adding 20mm of travel to your fork slackens your head tube angle by about 1 degree.

Adding 20 mm of fork travel will also raise the front end by about 15 mm assuming you are starting off with a 68 degree HT angle going from 120mm to 140 mm fork (not sure what year Yelli or what length fork you are running so that might vary). Now you'll be at ~67 degree HT angle.

Angleset could slacken you out a further 1.5 degrees, say down to about 65.5. 1.5 degrees slacker with an angleset would lower the front end by about 5 mm, so a net difference of 10 mm higher than what you started with before a new fork and angleset.

However, adding a 20mm longer fork and 1.5 degree angleset would also lengthen your wheel base by touch over 20mm.

I rode it with 120 fork and 1.5' CC angleset, loved it
