Nimble 9 Tire Clearance and Wheel Removal

I'm having a hard time removing my rear wheel with dropouts smashed all the way in.

It seems that I need to deflate the tire to get it out of the thru axle slot

    Tire is Maxxis 2.35

Anybody else? No biggie really ... I guess I'll try what the bike is like with longer wheelbase

Happens to me too on 29x2.35 Maxxis Icons. I don't deflate the tires but I do "roll" it out of the dropouts. I run about 22 psi in the rear.
