    Dear Canfield,

Seriously now, there's been a lot of rumor and innuendo about your company and it's state of being. You've built up a loyal following with your awesome bikes and I think I speak for the masses when I say, how about a little information about the future. I'm not asking about when's the next super carbon whatever coming out? I'm taking about what's the future hold for "Canfield Brothers Downhill Bikes" ? You guys have been very quiet for a long time. If your closing shop that's fine (You've earned it) I'll still rock my Riot & Balance until they can't go no more. Just don't leave us hanging in the dark.

I also agree. It would be nice to hear so I know if I should stop holding out for a updated Riot or Balance.

I've called and emailed without any luck other than a cold response via email saying "we are always working on something". Not sure why loyal riders are being blown off. It's certainly off putting.

I have to agree. Seems like a really odd stance for them to be taking. If nothing else it’s just poor marketing.

I can understand a small organization not wanting to keep the same pace as larger manufacturers but why not just let folks know that? Look at markets where it’s easier to keep pace like hardtail frames where geometry changes can be implemented more rapidly etc...

I was quite up in arms/ disgruntled about not hearing anything yet when I know one of the Bros has posted on this forum since this thread went up......... But then I went and rode my Riot today and honestly had so much fun. I am just happy to have one until I find something new or the Bros come out with something new. Either way I am going to change my outlook and just ride the hell out of and enjoy what I have and if they have something new when I decide to upgrade I will buy it, if not, oh well there loss on a sale.

I am 14 months into owning a DVO equiped Canfield Brothers Riot. All of my Friends own carbon bikes, Pivots or YT. I am never jealous, I love my Riot.

I absolutely love my Riot too but that's not what we're talking about.

It does seem like development and new products has slowed down. I might have been interested in a newer boost version of the EPO but that still hasn't happened. I don't hold it against them. It's hard to justify new moulds and tooling just to meet new axle standards but that's where a small company has a harder time keeping up with the market. Maybe I'll be proven wrong and there's one around the corner, but I kind of doubt it
