Your top 3 trails to ride?

If you had to pick what would be your top 3 trails to ride?

The reason I asked this because I have less than a month left in LA. so I want to hit up the good spots before I move. Thanks!

Chiquito is always fun, beautiful, and challenging (it's climbable, but it's an easy shuttle from Blue Jay to the candy store).

Noble Canyon is fairly epic if done as a loop.

If you haven't ridden Idyllwild, you should.

Okay, can't do just 3...so I'll throw in Cannell and SART.

Having said that, I'd prefer a bunch of trails along the Norcal coast, Tahoe/D'ville, or in Oregon/Washington. Where you moving to?

Chantry Flat/Winter Creek/Mt. Zion/Gabrielino: One of the most unique rides in SoCal.

    Cannel Plunge (Kernville)

And then maybe an afternoon of shuttling McGill (OK, ride up once just to say you did).

I like riding botanicals which links up with morning glory and elevators. That's on the cuesta grade. Then I like riding mdo loops.

Kevin, the only reson that none of the trails on your list are from Kernville is because you haven't come up to see me lately.

Just to clarify: I'm pretty sure the OP is looking for Socal trails, since he's leaving the area in a few weeks.

    Carry on...

in general any trail that is not overrun by SHUTTLERS. wussies. no respect for hard work.
    santa ana river was fun.
noble canyon is cool, but the paved climb isn't really worth it - maybe riding up the single track is more fun.
local SD trails are just for workin out, nothing more. nothin to write home about.
maybe a plug for the as of yet unridden for me cannel plunge. does that count?
