SkyPark Bike Park: 2019 Season Opener

    Who: You
    What: 2019 Season Opening
When: Saturday & Sunday, March 30/31
    Where: SkyPark Bike Park
Why: We are over this snow nonsense and it is time to shred

The long anticipated moment is finally here! SkyPark Bike Park will be OPEN for riding next weekend! Mother nature has blasted us with much needed rain, sleet and snow. The snow is melting off with warmer daytime temps in the 50's & 60's and thirsty trails are soaking it up, creating epic conditions.

Expect to see the following trails open:
    • Jumpline
    • Evergreen
    • Sleigh Ride
    • Upper Arrow
    • Upline (duh)

Trails on the backside have some stubborn snow hanging around, but if temps hold they should be opening up within a couple of weeks.

We will be giving away SkyPark Sweatshirts & T-Shirts on Saturday & Sunday, March 30/31 for those of you on our VIP Text List.

    See you there

    Upline will be open? Yay!

I'm 50/50 right now on Saturday. I was going to race, but might skip it for some fun Jumpine action.

Awesome opening weekend! Everything is riding amazingly well now, and the only lingering snow was right around the creek crossing on Comet, which just made that trail all the more fun. We love the new feature on Arrow, and we love our new sweatshirts. Thanks, Skypark!

I found the only two places where snow was an issue; the wood feature on the bottom half of Playground, and the wood skinny at the end of Playground/Comet. Both have spots with snow right where I land

Went on Saturday for the first time. Awesome place. Trails are fun and well maintained. Met the owner too, super nice guy. Thanks for the sweatshirt. Iím now a season pass holder.

Went up there on Saturday and couldn't have asked for better conditions. So much fun! Ended up renewing my membership.

Side note: the chicken wire on the new s-turn wooden feature on the bottom half of Arrow was pure genius... so much grip there, it's unbelievable! I only rode it twice so I didn't get a chance to figure it out the way that I wanted to, but that thing feels like you've been shot out of a cannon... fun!

Went up on Saturday, conditions were awesome and I had a blast! Rode everything but Jumpline since I was on my XC bike.

Any plans for new trails this year? I know there isn't a ton of space left on top of the world, but another 1-2 trails would do wonders for congestion.

The dirt is perfect up here after the moisture over the weekend. Take it slow coming up. There's been a lot of rocks on the highways causing accidents. Fog too.

Any details on all the building going on? It looks like camping and extending a trail into the parking lot from the last time I was up there.

We are currently expanding the highway to have turn lanes come into the Park. Campground coming soon!
