    SART conditions

Has anyone been to the SART lately? I am planning on riding it from Angelous Oaks to Southfork this Saturday 4-20th and was wondering the trail conditions after all the rain we had this winter.

From what I've heard you can definitely hike through it all but it's not enjoyable.

Kinda bummed, I really enjoy riding up there but I'm not even sure who manages trail maintenance or what the plan is to clean it up. (Not that I've looked that hard) I'd definitely volunteer some time.

SART Update. Decided to ride up on Seven Oaks rd to South Fork. The road was washed off at several places making them not ride-able, but hiking your bike was a good option and the stretches were not very long. The "down" part of the ride was done on SART. the first part from South fork to Glass rd was in bad shape, many places where the trail has been washed off, but there are ways to scramble around, large rocks on narrow trail was the order of the day. A bit dangerous for my skill level, had to walk my bike a lot. Second section from Glass rd to Mill creek rd was in much better shape with a couple of wash offs, you can tell that this section has been used the most. Both sections need repairs and clean up to make them back to what they used to be.
Definitely not much fun, unsafe and dangerous to do the first part (South fork to Glass rd)
If I would do it again, I would start my climb from Mountain Home Village, ride up on Mountain Home creek rd to Angelous Oaks, then Mill Creek rd. to Seven Oaks rd and then to South Fork. Descend on hwy38 to Glass rd and take SART to Mill creek rd. Angelous Oaks and complete the return on Mountain Home creek rd. to Mountain Home village.
