    Fun Day on Noble

As preparation for the Spring Fling next week the long climb up to the top of Noble takes some beating - with the payoff in the form of the great descent down the canyon.

After a particularly harsh UK winter time to break out the shorts and T shirt - a bluebird day, moderate temps and a little breeze to keep things comfortable made for a great day out.

A kind invitation to join a group of locals that included Aquaholic was gladly accepted and injected a whole lot of fun into the day - thanks for the company guys

    Ready to roll

Nearing the top of the Indian Creek climb

    Aqua frolics over trailside rocks

...and demonstrates some fine SS climbing technique

    A fine save!

    Another alternative line

The pleasure was all mine! Some great shots there - thanks for posting those.

Rode part of the Dells at Prescot today - pretty demanding stuff! Off to Sedona tomorrow for Hangover with Chalkpaw before he starts work, then hopefully Highline later on.

It was nice riding with you as well. Enjoy the trails in Arizona.

Hmmmmm.....I've ridden Noble Cyn several times (10 years ago) but always ride the paved road up and the trail down. However, I don't remember it being nearly as tough/scary/sketchy as your photos. If I was just going off your photos, I don't think I'd bother nowadays. Looks more like a death march to me.

great report--and a great choice of trails. if you know how to piece together the trails up there noble is a truly epic place. and aquaholic is the mayor!
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice--pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

    "aquaholic is the mayor!"

He is a bit good isn't he!

@K2 - that is probably because we only realy stopped to session the trickier bits - there is loads of fast flowy stuff too.

It would be a bit tedious to take the road all the way to the top - I started on the road and turned off for the Indian Creek climb as I needed a bit of a beasting after a pretty slack winter. Aqua & co also climbed up the final part of Noble then cut across to the road for some additional suffering!
