So do all the employees move or are they getting laid off/replaced? Will Fox stuff get cheaper?

I think this is more a reality of manufacturing leaving California in general than anything related to specifically mountain biking. Many of my friends who own manufacturing businesses left for Nevada and Arizona long ago.

Reading the article will provide many answers, but nothing ever truly gets 'cheaper' -hahaha what a concept.

Expect it to get worse. With Navin Gruesome poised to become our next governor, he will have to massively hike taxes to pay for everything he is promising. Look for sales to bump to 10% base rate and a 40% hike in state income taxes.

I already do most of my shopping in Reno. May as well just move there.

Fox is moving out of Cali

    https://m.pinkbike.com/news/fox-fact...o-georgia.html

Can anyone take a guess why? Maybe our high taxes, cost of living, cost of employing a labor focrce and so on. It kind of sucks seeing a staple in our mountain bike community leaving the state due to this state's poor support of industry.

I'm concerned California will increasingly penalize moving assets from the state.

We'll be retiring to that general area in about 2 years, so please leave the lights on for us!

This thread has become some kind of infinite loop, but Fox is NOT closing all operations and will remain open in Scotts Valley and Watsonville. Some divisions like Powered Vehicles is moving. They are about much more than bikes. The New Taco TRD Pros come spec'd with Fox.

Moving companies already penalize for moving out of Cali. For example, get an U-Haul quote from any Cali zip code, even one close to a border, to 1-way location out of state. Then do the same quote with a truck being picked up from a place just barely across the border in another state to the same destination. Far cheaper to pay any excess mileage. xD

    P.S. I blame the NIMBYs.

    Huh?

This shows the thread was moved, yet, it's still in the NorCal forum. wtf?

And my rather inoccuous Prop 6 post was moved to the Recycle Bin. Along with the senses of humor around here.
I wouldn't even get my hair cut except it's near the liquor store and it seems like my eyebrows need trimming now and then.
