"trail report" or "trip report" Basically, what you and Empty used to post all the time, that we'd keyboard drool over.

I agree with Empty Beer's list.

Empty Beer’s list is the one I agree with. Single biggest recommended change would be to do away with the weekly ride report thread. Second would be to make photo uploads easier.

Bring back the Tom Cat. And we haven’t had a Pete resurrection in a while. Next time he comes back let’s see if he can be tolerated a bit more. He is a smart mother. Longtime knowledgeable posters, even if they are sometimes over opinionated boors, are part of what makes a forum work. I know he deserved to be banned every time, but too strict moderation drove away other valued diverse voices.

Have to agree, it's just so obvious.

It's just so much easier to post them up on FB.

I would respectfully request that the weekday and weekend ride reports be combined into a weekly ride report. It will save admins posting these things two times a week, frees up more space on the front page and I don't have to figure out if I rode on a weekday or weekend.

I don't think these threads have resulted in less independent trip reports, but I could be wrong.

I never go to other sub-forums so I like to see threads on all things MTB in the norcal forum that should be under other sub-forums. Sorry, but not sorry.

Not peeves, but opportunities for improvement:

    • Ditch Tapatalk.

    • Organize subforums in a way that makes sense. 26/27.5/29 is not so applicable anymore. The first sub is 26er Bikes – can MTBR Forum scream out of date/touch any louder?

    • Agree that the post ordering is not user friendly.

Huh? Isn't that up to the individual user?
