Better than 100* in my book.

I'll take the odd instance rain day for sure, in mid/late May. It is rare.
Already seen more 90ish days this year than I wanted. ha

    No time to acclimate.

Hampering your project aside, should get some dust settled on some unusually dusty trails this time of year. But in our detriment more hydrating for the bull thistle growth! Yikes....

Btw what type of project out in coastal West county?

Sierra Creeks are going full tilt right now. Looks like mostly rain and that is going to melt more snow. But there will be fresh snow overnight if this goes as predicted.

This should be interesting to watch.

Yep, that's what the forecast is saying. Doesn't look like much snow will be falling, though, and the past few days has been in the mid/upper 60s. Any snow that falls will probably melt pretty quick.

But whatever rain/snow does fall will help with the dust.

I prefer racing there in summer conditions. Faster rolling and takes more skill. When itís wet anyone can corner fast.

True. I did my part to ensure it will rain. I washed my truck tonight. In my own right -it needed it. It was attacked today by birds sitting in a tree. So not to let it sit and stain, I gave it a rinse, used a soft brush and no soap.

I also mowed the lawn and did a little weeding before it gets wet -guess we'll see just how much rain actually falls though.

Plus side -a couple more spring days of dustless riding.
Bring on one day of hero dirt!

My brother in law had a Hellcat Challenger but traded it in for the Hellcat Jeep with the 1000 HP option.

Are you pretty good at cleaning your bike after a muddy(ish) ride?

Though I find cleaning therapeutic, I still avoid wet rides.

I almost never clean my bike other than spraying off the drivetrain and lubing. I do tear it down and rebuild about twice per year however.

Not in Monterey County Parks. We've had a number of races postponed due to too much rain prior to the event in the past.

Personally, I don't think we'll see the type of rainfall amounts that would lead to postponing. There have been a number of revisions to the forecast that I've seen.

If the winds pick up, it's gonna be very dangerous.

Whats happened is spring has sprung and the trees have become very, very heavy with growth. Usually during bad weather, the trees are bare. So this could get interesting.

Stay out of the woods if very windy.

There is some danger to crops, cherries, strawberries... bummer.

I went for a morning ride before the rain, but got sidetracked clearing a downed tree. Didnít notice the rain while I was doing that, but ultimately got pretty darned wet.

One and one half inches outside of Woodland this morning! We got 0.2" in five minutes in one cell!

All this rain will delay riding (other than Rockville tomorrow). I had decided last friday that I was pretty much done skiing but now those awful sun cups and ruts have been resurfaced. And, Lassen Park is due to open the Bumpass Hell parking lot soon.
