New question here. What to do with DH bike during winter?

Got myself a DH bike for next summer road-trip around bike parks.

Is there anything I can do with it around Bay Area during this winter?

I ride UC often, but I don't have any shuttle buddies, so if there's a list I can get on, feel free to send me a PM

    Pacifica has some pedal-friendly options.
Ride fast. Huck bravely. Waste no beer. Safety third.

You could ride it off the ladder drop on Boy Scout over and over. The pedal to the saddle is doable, but isn't that fun with DH gearing.

I forgot to add the "ish" suffix, sorry.
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice--pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

The only thing I do with the DH bike in the winter is strip it right down and rebuild it. Shock, forks (including damper), hubs, suspension, the whole lot. ALL the oil and grease is contaminated and brown from the dust at N*

Pacifica is a real grind on a big bike - No fun for me at all, so I pamper the DH bike and ride the SB5

Pushing up in santa cruz takes the same amount of time as pedaling up...sometimes faster...

The dirty looks and ensuing shame of trying to ride a DH bike at Rockville could be permanently damaging.

But there is nothing in Santa Cruz that warrants a DH bike going back down.....

And you won't get laughed at with DH bike there? Is there a trailforks link to the trails?
