Wink Is there anything Cool Nat Lopes isn't involved in?

For the longest time I've been trying to figure out where I recognized the name from. (HilRide, Zorg's Pump Track Build Video are a given.)

I finally figured it out, b/c I'd been present when this little thing went down, and his was the video they put up onto youtube..

*Note the use of the jingly bell..Hint-Hint.

Nat, we need something like this around here really soon? I'm thinking S.F., the tunnel into the Square, hit up the square, down to the cement banks down towards O'Farrell, etc. Whad'ya say? They do IcerAir, why not a Bike thang?

How about S.F. International? That would be really fun!

Nat is an awesome guy and Hilride is cool company.... but that stunt was just ok.

I think some yayhoo's will miss the obvious point that the mall was closed during this activity...... and head to the mall on a sunday and act stupid. Yes - it is stunts like these that will go wrong and piss off other user groups. I don't care if a rider breaks a leg or other extremity, its every riders poor choice. I do care about my choice of recreation being restricted. Just use common sense if you try urban adventure cycling!.

If you like the urban adventure free riding there is much more exciting stuff happening in Mexico and South America and its all over youtube as well.

This is a fantasy race. When I worked in big floor plate office buildings, I always wanted to ride my bike through it.

Wonder where this is and what kind of corporate tenant will actually allow someone to fly through their office with glass conference room like that? Unless the building is about to be demolished, I can't picture someone allowing such a thing in silicon valley.

It did be very cool though.

He and his wife also help out with NICA & Norcal HS mountain bike racing, and I think they used to be the IMBA Trail Care people.

Pretty sure they did this in the Minneapolis skyway system. Which is very much not about to be demolished, since it joins like a dozen different buildings . . . . And I think Red Bull sponsored it.

Did I mention we have trails where horses are illegal out here too?
