    Thank You Santa Cruz

My wife and I just spent 2 days riding in Santa Cruz and it was fantastic.

On Sunday we demo'd some bikes from Santa Cruz (for free!) and hit Wilder/UCSC.

On Monday we got some bikes from IBIS (HD3, Ripley) and drove up to the Demo forest. Flow trail was really F'ing fun. The dirt was perfect.

Other notes: Tramonti had really great Italian food. Saturn Cafe is a good vegetarian diner (garlic fries had ~ a head of diced garlic on them!) - if you are a vegetarian with the munchies go here. Dream Inn was spendy but nice location/view. Kellys French bakery is near Ibis/Santa Cruz bikes - good for breakfast.

Also - we flew into SJC and rented a pickup truck from uhaul for less $ than a car (which would still need a bike rack). We wanted to shuttle everywhere but that got expensive real quick. And Shuttle Smith picks up in Aptos which is in the opposite direction from Santa Cruz and Ibis...

    Overall it was awesome.

    Thanks

We ran into you at the top of Demo. We were also riding Ibis demo bikes. I'm glad you enjoyed the descent. Your timing was perfect. The dirt was in perfect condition.

It wasn't closed on Monday. There was one truck with a couple of guys working, but not much else.
