Tahoe Rim Trail - Tahoe Meadows/Tunnel Rd reports?

Anyone tried to go southbound from Tahoe Meadows this week?

Trying to find some recent information on the snow.

On Trailforks, someone posted that it was snowed in as of the 4th.

Tamba surprisingly doesn't list any info for the East Shore portions of the Rim Trail. Or east of Brockway either.

Flume Trail Bikes has no info.

    Anyone try it this week?

I rode from TM to the Tyrolean connector, Tyrolean, back up and across the flume trails to Chimney on June 6 (last Saturday). There were 5-10 small patches of snow going up from the meadows on TRT that were easily passable/rideable, but once you came around to the south aspect, it was snow-free. I don't know about past the Tyrolean connector, but I would imagine that it is nearly snow-free by now. There might be some snow on that one east aspect just before Tunnel Creek

Thanks! That's the exact info I'm looking for.
I don't mind a few patches of snow, but don't want to huffing it for a mile.

I'd love to hit Chimney -- it's been a while!

Huh-- didn't know that they posted trail conditions. Thank you -- good to know!

That's surprising. Max must be tied up with all the resurgence of the shop and cafe!👍

The Cafe was doing fairly good business yesterday... a long, somewhat socially distanced line. Running some shuttles to Spooner at half-capacity.

Took my nephew on the Rim Trail for his first MTB ride. Unfortunately, finished too late to grab a post-ride beer from the cafe.

    Always tomorrow, right?
The Incline Flume is a pretty tame ride too, have you done?

I wish there was tomorrow, but it's back to the grind.

Yes, I know the IF well. Kind of interesting to see the official signage for the trail.

I would have liked to take the nephew to see the Incline Bullwheel, but he was too tired for that.

If I'm riding solo in the area, I'll go out on Rim from TM, back on the Incline Flume and then drop Tyrolean.
