    Tahoe Flume/East Shore

If I try to ride the Flume on Sunday, will I have to traverse any glaciers? Anyone know about the snow melt?

    Flume

I believe the trail is open. Here's a link to updated trail info:

If you ride it soon and post a follow up on how the trail looks, that would be kewl.

    Wide open

Rode it yesterday as a 3 hr loop (front and back, park at Spooner). No snow. Perfect conditions.

Did you ride the PCT up towards Marlette Peak on the back side of your loop?

And North Star is a crater.

Not a sign of snow. Even high above Marlette.

Went by Northstar. The Village is totally gone. No where to chill with a brew and a burger after doing the lifts. Just a huge crater. No where to even park the car.

I'm going to Northstar on the 19th....Should I bring a cooler of food since it sounds like the village is no longer?

    Deli is operating.

The deli is still open, but there's no where to eat anything, except for some picnic tables sitting in the sun with no shade and a good view of the crater.

    Was there 6/12

Rode Mr Toads on 6/12...a few patches of snow to muddle through. Rode Spooner to Flume to Tahoe Rim Trail back to Marlette on 6/13...More patches of snow on TRT...a few hike-a-bikes over long sections...maybe 20 feet max.
