    SLO Irish Hills

Heading down to SLO tomorrow and thinking of riding the Irish Hills Natural Reserve. Any recommendation of a route direction would be appreciated.

TH @ Madonna Rd. and Prefumo Canyon Rd. Just trying to get a grip on a general direction and best loop possibilities.

    tOnE.

Start @ Madonna side. Do this in reverse:

Don't use light side walled tires. Tons of fun! Stunt Mutt approved.

Make sure to hit Mariposa on your way back. It will put you out a bit west of where you park but just have to take surface streets back to the neighboorhood parking spot.

about 10 years ago I would start at Maddona TrailHead then go toward perfumo canyon, the road burn back from there wasn't too bad. But it looks like they've added a ton of new trail out there since then...

I was looking at the exit onto Isabella lane, is that new? also look at this Tacoma parked there on google streetview :wowzers . https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2607...7i13312!8i6656

should cross post in Taco Envy

Iím assuming some of the ones I rode are meant to be kept off online forums. Not positive on that though, I normally just ask whoever is leading to take me on the gnarliest trails they know. We started ride off hwy 101 on West Cuesta Ridge.

    SLO Irish Hills

Hey guys, also in the area this weekend and looking for a bigger ride on Sat am, Nov 10th. Have done some riding at MDO, Irish Hills and West Cuesta on prior trips. Any suggestions for something a little different? 3ish hours and 4-5K of up/down?
    Thanks in advance!

If you haven't ridden Rock Garden, it's worth a go. Google it, pretty obvious trail on Madonna Mtn.
