    Shimano XT8000 11s Derailleur New $50

Bought this to try a new cassette, and cassette was junk so it was only tried out for a less then 10 minutes on bike. Ended up buying eagle GX 12s instead. My loss your gain, I pad 75 through Jensen and have all receipts. 50 firm shipped

Since youíre trying cassettes with different spacing/number of gears...I would recommend trying Shimano 8-speed...that was my favorite. What derailleur and shifter are you using?

I have 2 bikes a FS and a HT. What I tried to do was add an 11s 9-50 ZTTO cassette using a 11s shimano shifter and derailleur. The ZTTO shifted poorly when it shifted at all in the smallest 4 cogs. Frustrated I just bought the GX system as was done messing round with the Chinese crap cassette. Im already using the 11s stuff on my HT with a sunrace 11-50 cassette that works perfect. I have been told if I buy the shimano 7100 derailleur it would help the ZTTO cassette shift better then the XT8000 im selling above.

I'd try a three on the tree.

Got it, I just needed a little more info
I havenít tried a ZTTO cassette but, they arenít really known as top performers...just stick with a Shimano cassette in the future, or the GX.

Yep! Maybe one of the worst designs ever.

    1. Keep the XT8000 setup (or better, get an XTR shifter and keep XT derailleur).
    2. Ditch the Zitto,
    3. Get a Sunrace 11-46T (or 11-50T per pref.)
    4. Get a decent quality chain (KMC X11SL Ti Nitride for example)

I've been running this setup for a few years... dependable and shifts great. The Sunrace cassettes are cheap enough to replace every two chain replacements or so (I replace chains between the 50-75% wear).

If you replace your chain that often you should rarely need to replace the cassette.

    .
I have the sunrace 11-50 paired with the high end silver KMC now. I just wanted that 9T cog for when I ride the street to the trails. I have an extra new XT8000 so I have no problem trying a 7100
