    Sh!t cyclists say

Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's pretty funny:

    Shit Cyclists Say - YouTube

I wonder if anyone has made a Sh!t MTB-ers say version; I suppose we could start one up right here; I'll kick it off:

(after washing out on a simple switchback) "I'm not used to these new tires"

“Dude, we’re almost at the top. Seriously, there’s less than 200 feet of climbing left, you can do it!”

I apparently say that to everyone I go on a ride with, and they always want to f**kin’ kill me afterward, since I always somehow manage to miscalculate the remaining climbing footies by between 800 - 1,400 feet.

ok, since we're on cyclist humor...

Half the planet is deep into bloody tribal mayhem. We’re just riding bikes (and drinking beer) here.

    That video was funny.

I recall a Farley - Ranger comic with this line, "The management request that mtn bikers not exchange stock tips while riding through the park. Thank you."

I wish I could find that one. He was pretty funny. Here is a sample of the comic strip.

OK - I'll apologize again! This site and another forum about making beer are about the only sites I'm ever on - somebody forwarded me the video and w/out even thinking, I threw up the post! My bad!

All the talk about "How light is this?" reminded me of when I worked at Jim Davis Sports on Telegraph Ave in Berkeley.

Tennis rackets were marked "M" for medium and "L" for light. We would have customers come in and try to figure out which of 5 tennis rackets was the lightest of the Light rackets. Or heaviest of the Mediums. Some customers would come in spend a half hour trying to judge the weight of the racket, then leave not being sure if they really could figure out if they were buying the right weigh racket. In desperation, the store own bought a triple beam balance. As the shipping clerk, it was my job to unpack the rackets, put on a price tag, weigh each racket, and write the weight in grams on the price tag, so the customers could easily read the weight and select the right one.

One day a Berkeley police officer walks in and says, "I can't help but notice you are weighing those rackets on a drug scale."

I jokingly replied, "Why yes sir. Theses carbon fiber rackets are hollow and are filled with coke. Look at this one, it is 2 grams light! You just can't trust the drug suppliers these days. But what's a couple of grams?"

The officer replied, "About two hundred dollars."

We both had a good laugh. The 80's were fun. The cops in Berkeley were fun too. That shop was way too much fun.

Some of you need to lighten up! Yes the video is old. So what? Go ride a trail or something. Or "put a bird on it!". You can fix it by adding something else funny... please - I need the occasional laugh especially to get through my work day.
