WTF? I donít understand the carelessness of cigarette smokers flicking their butts everywhere. Really now, how else did this happen? Perhaps the sunlight refracted from the urine stream from a coyote caused the fire?
goodbye cruel world. I am leaving you today.

Maybe a magnesium pedal strike on a rock?

Seeing as the temperatures are in the >100įs over there today I donít see why anyone would be riding.

Rode by the burn area an hour ago and everything looked under control and it didnít look like any trees were burnt down. Lots of rocks on the hillside that were previously hidden by the grass.

I rode there today. Got to Fortini lot and saw some smoke. I thought it was a controlled burn like they do occasionally. So, I figured I might be able to ride a loop of Rocky Ridge and avoid the fire. I rode Stiles but came to my senses and turned around and finished the ride at Calero. They seemed to put the fire out quickly in like an hour.
