Santa Cruz just says "No" to AMGEN 2011

Did y'all read this link to the Sentinel online?

That's fine. It's time to pass the torch. We can Carpool to another city to see a local stage of the tour, or reduce our collective carbon feetprint even further by viewing it online.

P.S.: Armstrong is not scheduled to be at this event.

    What is Amgen?

    Psyche!
I'm not concerned. I didn't even go watch it when it passed five blocks away. I found out they were all going to be riding road bikes. I do wish I had gone to the Kenda booth to get some cheap tires, though.

Each city on the tour is expected to put up a lot of money. Santa Rosa had (and will again) have a big fund-raising event to help pay for it. The city itself only pays for a small portion of the cost. The rest are private donors or participants in Levi's Gran Fondo ride.
