The Return of the Tish Tang Tangle

    IT'S BAA-AAAACK !

After a hiatus of five years, we're bringing it back! The famous Tish Tang Tangle cross country and downhill will return Sept. 17, 18 & 19.

It's all just outside the town of Willow Creek on Hwy 299 about 40 miles inland from Arcata on a network of trails on US Forest Service land and Hoopa Tribal land.

The lonnnnng XC course that everyone remembers will be back in all its splendor. It's actually in excellent shape thanks to all the folks who have kept riding it all these years.

The 7-minute+ downhill will be back too, possibly with a few new twists, turns and opportunities for air-time.

Camping is available right at the race venue. Full details and entry forms will be on the website in the coming weeks.

    Oh Yeah...

    Great news,

For anyone interested, this course is the real deal. In classic norcal fashion, a big 3,000 foot fireroad climb up to separate things, with singletrack interspersed with little climbs all the way back. t's about as fun as they get.

No. We couldn't see adding yet another event to our busy, busy schedule. So we're gonna do Tish Tang instead. The 12 Hours of Humboldt will still be in Redwood Park/Arcata Community Forest.

So this year the Bigfoot clasic #1 is at bald mountain and the bigfoot classic #2 was going to be at redwood park, reverse of last year, or is the website mixed up?
