    Praise for Rick Yu, bikefitter

Recently I had the pleasure of having my Santa Cruz Blur professionally fit by Rick Yu at Eden Bicycles in Castro Valley.
Rick has done a fit for me on my road bikes but never a mountain bike...Rick feels getting a proper fit on a mountain bike is even more important than on a road bike.
I just got a new Santa Cruz Blur and thought I'd give it a shot
Rick's been in the bike business forever and has been fitting folks for many many years.

In a word, Rick is amazing!

He spent a good chunk of the time getting to know me, my riding style and what I was looking for.
He took multiple measurements and was meticulous and precise.
We spent about 2 hours together and at the end my Blur fit me better than it ever had!
I felt more comfortable and was able to climb and descend more efficiently.

    Truly amazing!
The money I spent was the best money I'd ever spent on my bike...period!
His rates are reasonable and fair...if you're thinking about getting fit, give Rick a call.

I've been giving this some serious consideration lately. Each of my three bikes is a little different with nuances that I'm not sure are good or bad - to me they're just different. I'm sure a pro fitter could scope these out and improve upon each of them.
I've wasted more than the cost of a fitting with the various stems and bars in my collection. Maybe it's time I wise up and seek professional help.
    Thanks for sharing your experience.
$500 million for more irresponsible EBRPD land management? No thanks.

Wow. I think I worked with Rick years ago at Start to Finish Fremont. I'm thinking it's the same Rick anyways. Good to hear he's still working in the bike world and doing a stellar job.
