Isn't Gardnerville about 3 hours from Sacto ? Any idea beyond the flyer on the course ?

It' about 2 hours. Just down the hill from SLT. As for the course, I have ridden it on horseback and it is absolutely beautiful country. Reminds me a lot of the high desert of New Mexico with pinon pine groves, rock outcroppings, and spectacular views. Definetly different than what we ride here in Norcal. And bonus,,, no poison oak!

I'm in EDH on I-50, but willing to go I-80 or I-50. Not sure if I-50 at Kyburz has been cleared from the landslide yet.

Outstanding! I'm in Folsom. So far there are only you and Darth Tracer and I who are going. Darth is still not 100% but I'm working on him. I am 100% however and looking forward to a change in scenery. Lets get together for a ride this week. We could do a Dyke 8 ride or possibly a Salmon Falls ride. Tuesday or Wednesday? I can go at 4:00 or later.

Cool. Let's say Wedneday at 5 PM ? I live within a mile or so of Dyke 8 but could meet in Od Folsom if that's easier.

BTW I found the course map, 3D course map and elevation map from last year's Pinenut:

The Pinenut area is fairly sandy as I recall from winter rides I've done there on my way to/from Mammoth(for skiing). If 50 isn't clear sailing, take 88. If you go 80 to Reno, it's 40 min to an hour from 395/80 to Pinenut. If you take 88, when you hit Gardnerville, take NV 756 east. It's the first intersection with a flashing yellow light as you come down the hill. Follow 756 to the second stop sign. Go straight, there'll be a satellite dish/home office type shop in the NE corner of this intersection, and follow the main road from this point on. It'll take a couple of 90's, go past a preschool, and a golf club. Go straight when you hit 395 - it changes names and becomes Pinenut on the east side of 395.
