October 26-28, 2018 Weekend Ride and Trail Conditions Reports

Would really appreciate some Tahoe conditions reports from anyone who is up there over the next few weeks. Snow will be here soon.

The min and max temps are cooling down across NorCal, it's that time of the year.

Bike winterizing going on? I'm probably going to tear my down bike down completely this week.

    Photos and reports appreciated.

Kinda long was wanting to test the stabilization on my new Gopro 7 so yesterday went and rode one of the rockier trails in the Tahoe region, Sayles Canyon, pretty pleased my old camera would be pretty much unwatchable on this trail. first section I realized my chest strap was flapping around so I got that sorted out for the rest of the video.

Rode Skyline for the first time yesterday evening. Only saw 4 hikers. Cooling temps and fun trails. I rode River to Ridge-buckeye-chaparral-Marie Creek-Manzanita-river to ridge.

I think next time I'll descend buckeye or skyline ridge.

Stopped off at Fieldwork after for some crowlers of Pulp.

That looked really good, Jeff. Nice work on the chunk!

Couple of hours at Skeggs today. Resolution needs some rain to wash away the sand build up/addition on the rocks, it's basically a golf cart path on the rock section.

That is amazing stabilization without a gimbal, really amazing. Some solid riding there too!

Seth did a pretty good compare and contrast on the Hero 7 Black.

Got in another great ride at Downieville- looped the DH from town.

    Fall colors are still spectacular:

Late season Downieville runs yesterday... almost 40 miles. Great fall colors, trails in pretty good shape for no moisture.

Nice to ride the PCT legally, and the Gold Valley Rim is really fun.

Really good time!!!!!!!!! The trail is shitty but the air and the foliage is spectacular.

Just use the good tires, wear knee pads and sty on the inside of all corners!!!!!
