    North Star

Did anyone go to opening day today? Was it worth the trip? I'll be driving from SF but I don't wanna waste my time going if it's not worth the drive.

    Thanks!

I stayed home, didn't want to do the drive just for the lower mtn. But it is just $29 a day this weekend.

8 hours worth of driving and a $30 pass doesn't uite sound worth it if you can only ride from mid mountain down. I'll be saving my trips till a bit later.

We made it last night in less than 4!!! So much snow's melted compared to just what was here last weekend. Won't be riding N*, rather some other local gems. 3 Minute Gaps as well!

I rode it yesterday. There are a few trails open and the jump park at the bottom, but I live in south lake. I wouldn't drive from SF yet.

I rode it on Saturday, I got a season pass so it didn't really cost me anything extra. It was about what I expected, the trails are ok, but not anything special. Good for training the GF on though. Did some other good riding in the area on Sunday.

There is still a LOT of snow up there, don't expect the rest of the mountain to open up anytime soon. I'm praying to the weather gods though, it's supposed to be in the 80's all week.

Was there this weekend, GF took the Ride 101 lessons on Sunday.. pretty sweet deal. I have a season pass, and it was a crazy Livingsocial deal to stay at Squaw Creek. Trails were relatively empty.
