    NorCal MTB Parents

If you have kids, raise them this way! This kid will be dominating freeride in a few years.

Kid's got some ability. Any of my offspring who tried that would be dominating the ER.

My kids pretty much hates his balance bike haha. He's all about his razor scooter.

    He's only 2 and a half though, I think/hope he'll dig the bike soon.

Razor scooter is good. Stoking the sense of adventure is the key.

My kids didn't dig their balance bikes until they were over 3. Just got them their first pedal bikes and they were riding them THE FIRST DAY. It's basically friggin amazing.

Kids have the gift of plasticity in learning. They can adapt and pick up things far quicker than adults. It's an incredible thing to watch, and it doesn't have to be lost in adulthood. There's a great book on this by Stanford prof Barbara Dweck called Mindset.

Razor scooter comment and gliding comments reminded me of this guy. Pretty amazing story as well. You can be 8 years old your entire life!

Man, I went to SDSU and lived in PB. Seeing Slomo cruising down the boardwalk was always a highlight! Strange to see him getting notariety outside of San Diego.
