    my little runner

My 6yo son has a nice little bicycle. But he gets so excited when he doesn't ride it. I wanted to take him for a ride last Sat and he was "yay" when I said "oops you got a flat tire" as I took it off the rack Lately he's always excited about hiking and running (and playing legos), and today he ran 30min at the school's fundraiser. He was really sweaty at the end but he seemed to enjoy it as he kept giving hi-5s to the crowd as he ran the small loop. Oh well, I guess I'll save money on not needing to buy him a 29er kids bike I guess kids always do opposite of their parents, so I need to stop cycling and start running

Or just people they look up to. I'm 18 and live away from home and my 11 year old brother won't get on a bike for the life of him :'(

My kids are opposite. They get into bad moods if they don't get to ride their bikes. My oldest (7 this month) can go ~ 9 miles on bike path. My youngest (4 in June) can go 3-4mi on his skoot bike. They are little machines!
