MTB + travel = Adventure: “Reveal the Path” showing, Fri 10/26, Los Altos!

    Top 5 reasons for going:
    5. cozy seats – comfy theater on a cool autumn evening
    4. raffle & bake sale (yes, really) at intermission...
    3. support your local mtb advocacy group!
    2. socialize, wind down a great summer -
    1. get inspired for your next mtb adventure!

It's a touring/adventure movie for cyclists and friends who like to travel, be outdoors, and get out into the unknown. Explore great landscapes and other cultures through the eyes of some strong riders (two of them hold record times on the Continental Divide race). Check out the trailer…

If *you* could ride anywhere in the world... where would you go?

When: Friday October 26th. Doors open 6:30, showtime 7:30.
Where: Los Altos High’s Eagle Theater, 201 Almond Ave, Los Altos

Tickets on sale at REI Mountain View, San Carlos, and Saratoga: $10 in advance for REI members, $12 for non-members and at the door. For will-call tickets, call REI Mountain View, (650) 969-1938.

Proceeds benefit ROMP - we work for mtb access in Santa Clara & San Mateo Counties (where we find ongoing opportunities for our efforts...)

Big thanks to our sponsor & co-host REI, and event sponsors Trailhead, Passion Trail, and Starbucks-Los Altos!

    More info? REI or ROMP.

    C'mon out!

    Yep, I'm in.

They'll be hot coffee (Peets), home made cookies and drinks at the Romp booth.

hey Sorceror - you have quite the fun schedule this month! but about this weekend... got some studded bike tires?

    *** Reasons #6 & 7 to be there Friday night ***
    6. too much snow to head to the Sierras and mtn bike.
    7. not enough snow to head to the Sierras and ski/ride (oh yeah - except for Squaw tomorrow!)

plus a little matter of staying in town to watch baseball...
