Mountain Bikers Needed for a PAID Commercial Shoot!

This is being posted on behalf of Bret Koehler. He can be reached at:

I'm a commercial film director out of NYC, and we're currently shooting a mountain biking video for Nature Valley granola bars in the Sierras. We're doing a last minute casting for interested riders. As you may know, Nature Valley is an active sponsor of mountain biking events.

If you could pass the info on to your group, we're looking for the following:
Men and women 25+ in the Sacramento/Tahoe/Reno zone and surrounding areas. I'm casting in Sacramento today and tomorrow, and have a producer in the Downieville/Tahoe area until tomorrow night.
Experience level should be advanced...we'll be shooting near Downieville, which has some fairly difficult downhills.
Energetic personalities and an addiction to the environment and mountain biking are a must.
Pay is $750 per person plus travel expenses. This is currently being shot as a web video for wheresyours.com and youtube, but Nature Valley is interested in making it into a commercial. If this happens, the rider will be getting all residuals and payment normally paid to commercial actors.

This is very last minute and we'd need responses today! Sorry for the late announcement. Please call me with any questions...I'll be on email sporadically today. Thank you very much!

    Age req

Thank you Willem, for the post.

Melt, as far as the age requirements go, it's simply a guideline. We're looking for mature riders (by mature I mean in attitude and how they carry themselves). If you're interested in speaking further, let me know!

    Cheers,

    BK

My friend emailed him. The rider should have knowledge of the local dv trails he said. Rules my buddy out. Good luck to whoever does this! It's really pretty cool.

My buddy was set to do this, but had an emergency appendectomy a couple days before the shoot. This dude from The Hub in Rocklin filled in nicely. Nice footage of Dville.

Same video and a couple other versions are available on YouTube.

Pretty cool. I was eating a nature valley Sweet&SaltyNut bar granola bar as I watched. I liked that they kept the biff in there.
