maybe you already knew this, if someone found him and didn't know what to do, he could end up at several different shelters (SC County in San martin, San Jose, HSSV and probably a few more).

Hope you find the little dude.

    Is your dog microchipped?

I'll post this in the Bike Soiree Facebook page and ask them to post it in the SJ Bike Party page. I'm sorry, bro. I live way our here in Almaden, but I always keep an eye out for loose pets - ALWAYS. Good luck - hopefully your friend will get home.

We found Mac. Turns out he never left. He crawled into a corner in the back room where he passed away. R.I.P. Mac ( -2010)

Sorry to hear about Mac...it is like losing a family member. If there is any consolation to this at least he didn't wander off leaving you to wonder where he could be.......

Sorry to hear about your dog. Perhaps you can take some comfort knowing that he passed away at home. So many bad things happen to lost pets.

Ah dang, sorry dude. My little beagle always wants to run around the neighborhood too. I'm glad you had closure, but I'm sure it was hard.

Bonking ... not feelin' well I think we are being punished

Couple nights ago someone tried to break into our house. Thankfully they didn't get in but they knocked over the gate and Bella got out. After I got home and realized she was missing I ran around the neighborhood looking for her. I found her wrapped in a towel and tossed in the gutter. Someone had run her over with their car...really hating on the *******s of this world right now

That really blows! To lose one is bad enough, but two in such a short period is beyond horrible. I'm sorry to hear it. We used to have dachshunds, and we lost 3 of them in a year. You just get beat down lower, because you haven't recovered from the first. It was hard, didn't have a dog for a couple of months and weren't exaclty looking for one, when our current dog fell into our laps. She's a terrier, which is quite a change from the dachshunds, and probably a good thing. No comparing her to the dachsies(good or bad), just taking her for what she is and enjoying her, and the memories of the others.
