MBOSCers,Hup hup, cyclocross fans. You can win a brand new cyclocross bike just by giving a $10 handup for trails! For every handup, you'll be entered to win a Santa Cruz Stigmata or a Rock Lobster Cycles custom steel cyclocross bike with Easton components. Every handup goes directly to trails in Santa Cruz! Click here to enter now!
That's right. For the cost of your post-race burrito and beer, you could win a brand new cyclocross bike from either Santa Cruz Bicycles of Rock Lobster Cycles. These two brands are joining forces to host the 41st edition of Surf City CX. This race is now held as a benefit for MBOSC to help us bring more trails to Santa Cruz County. What's more fun than drop bars on singletrack?! To celebrate Surf City CX, and to further support MBOSC's efforts to improve trail access in Santa Cruz County, the folks at Santa Cruz Bicycles are giving away a Stigmata, and Rock Lobster's legendary builder Paul Sadoff is giving away a custom steel cyclocross bike built with Easton components.
To celebrate the 2019 edition of Surf City CX, our goal is to raise $19,000. Imagine what that will do for trails in Santa Cruz! Will you help us achieve this goal while supporting trails in Santa Cruz County?
Finally, handups are not a crime!

Fuel reduction will begin on the ridge separating The Soquel Demonstration State Forest and The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park on October 9th 2019. This is the fourth phase of the ongoing fuel reduction projects in the Aptos Creek Road and Buzzard Lagoon Road area. Mastication equipment will be working on both sides of Ridge Trail where slopes are gentle enough to allow for equipment access. Ridge Trail from the intersection of Aptos Creek Fire Road to Sulfur Springs Road will be closed to the public until mid November or until further notice on weekdays from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Once operations are complete Ridge Trail will be re-opened to the public.
