May 3-5, 2019 Weekend Ride and Trail Report

Beautiful weather across NorCal, but it's getting brown with a little dust on the MidPen.

    Photos and reports appreciated.

Dry and dusty in Monterey, some trails have recently reopened on the west side of fort ord. Trails 70 and 65, they're fun to link together in either direction, a little bumpy right now but they should smooth out. Not worth a trip to Monterey for but anyone that rides FO often should check them out.

Saw a few people out paragliding as I was riding out along the coast to the trials. Looks like fun.

Aptos was pretty epic today- perfect weather and plenty of brown pow.

Exchequer is dry and hard, but a lot of the grass is still pretty green. My bike fitness sucks. Need to ride more often than I have been the past few months.

New trail loop called "Lower Roadrunner" is now open. Fun short little trail with some tight switchbacks and rocky tech sections.

I was very surprised the Rangers haven't closed off that twenty foot section of mud bog.
