    Listening to The Law

Tonight, on the way home, I heard Shiloh talking to me in my car. Shiloh's voice told me to log into buildinggreen.com(?).

Nope, it wasn't a halucination, as I listen to KLIV and the CEO Show was playing.

The best part is when the radio host said he was getting a lot of emails and phone calls from people excited that Mich Blach, the Green Builder, was being interviewed. Then Shiloh sweetly asks "Did you get any email and calls about me?"

Her interview isn't yet in the web archive, as it's still playing tonight. But in the meantime, you can listen to the interview with:
Greg LeMond - Tour de France Champion
Mike Sinyard - CEO, Specialized Bikes
on this archive link. (Feb 20)

We just listened to some of the replay.
She's pretty pissed that I didn't hear the original broadcast. Sorry honey.

She'll be thrilled to know that someone else heard it.

So that means it's your turn to make the pie tonight?

I'll be signing autographs on the next big group ride.

The website I was referring to, for those of you who are interested in green building, is www.builditgreen.org.

Now we'll all have something more to talk about in addition to tires!

(Wouldn't you think if your girlfriend was going to be on the radio that you would go out of your way to listen and let her know how she did?)
    Can we talk tires now?

It just so happens that I have 3 Arbitron survey booklets for this week—just trying to help out plymmer with the ratings for his radio show—let me know the station, date, and time of your show Shiloh, and I'll help your ratings too.

[Edit] Oh I see, Tuesday @ 7pm on KLIV. How long? 30 mins? An hour?

Dan was too choked-up with pride to comment immediately

Maybe I'm cynical, but Dan probably thought: "I'm gonna have to hear all about it when I get home, do I really want to hear it twice?".

    I'm sure it was fantastic.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to tune in - for the subject as well as the MTBR props.

Those into green building have a lot going on in SF over the next week: this weekend is the Dwell on Design show, and West Coast Green from the 20-22.

Maybe you discussed these in the show!

Zorg, I have great sympathy for your wife.

On the green conferences and stuff, we didn't really get to talking about what's going on in that regard. It's kind of interesting to do a radio show because you want to be succinct enough so that you don't lose folks, but you also have more time that a sound bite. There was so much more I would have liked to talk about...

Next time I'll try to work in mountain biking.

Small world - my Uncle is an executive at Blach. He's been learning about & specializing in "green building" for the past several years.

Shows how well I was listening. But I'm not building a house right now either.

The interview is now available at the bottom of the archive.

Everyone can now hear that Shiloh won't read her daughter's diary.

Although the CEO Show is on every week, Shiloh was the guest this week only.

When and where is Roy (plymmer)'s radio show? Now I need to give him equal time.

That's okay because the radio surveys I'm doing are just for this week. She's scored three listeners in this household.
